At the gates of Orléans and Chambord, the Ferme du Petit Gué du Roi is a farm to which we have given new life to breed American horses of the Paint and Quarter Horse breeds, Scottish cows of the Highland, then to create a small farm campsite there in 2020, Camping du Petit Gué du Roi , with only unusual accommodation (two lodge tents, a retro caravan and a tent pitch) and a shop selling local products (AOC wines , beers, honey, jams...), before starting in 2021 the production of nuts and artisanal oils , also on sale at the shop.
The farm is located right next to the Domaine du Gué du Roi,remnant of a small 18th century castle, which unfortunately disappeared, which we bought in 2011 and patiently renovated to make it a house of happiness for our family and our guests. In the one-hectare park surrounded by centuries-old walls, we have transformed the barn and the dovecote into two gites and the chapel into two guest rooms , and installed a wooden trailer and for the little ones a mini-farm with Bullet, the Irish pony, Iroquois, the piebald donkey, Abigail, Bonnie and Clyde, the dwarf goats, Blue, the local sheep, not to mention the chickens, roosters and ducks!
Ideally located on the road to the Châteaux de la Loire , 1h30 south-west of Paris with direct access to the A10 and A71 motorways and at the crossroads of major hiking trails, we are now happy to welcome all tourists looking for an authentic, bucolic and unusual parenthesis, with the greatest respect for Mother Nature , as well as the riders ofthe European Route D'Artagnan , the cyclists of the Loire à Vélo and the walkers of Santiago de Compostela.
Please note that cars remain in the car park at the entrance to the campsite and that caravans and motorhomes are not accepted for logistical reasons, our capacity being very limited.
LODGE TENT 3 to 4 people

Unusual and exotic atmosphere for this large fully equipped lodge tent decorated in an Out of Africa style. Located near the stables with independent access. Free parking at the entrance, no car on the campsite.
On 24 m2: 1 bedroom with 1 real 140 cm bed and 2 real 90 cm beds. In an adjoining cabin, equipped outdoor kitchenette reserved for campers. Sanitary facilities shared with the campsite in the stables 20 m away. Sheets, towels, tea towels and soap provided.
For 4 people maximum (child and baby included) day and night.

On 13 m2: 1 bedroom with 3 real 90 cm beds. In an adjoining cabin, equipped outdoor kitchenette reserved for campers. Sanitary facilities shared with the campsite in the stables 20 m away. Sheets, towels, tea towels and soap provided.
For 3 people maximum (child and baby included) day and night.
RETRO CARAVAN 2 people
Once upon a time there was a Campsite on the Farm... ideal for lovers.
Original and bucolic atmosphere for this authentic 1970 Tabbert caravan restored Bardot style in pink and green gingham. Located near the stables with independent access. Garden furniture and BBQ available under shade sail. Free parking at the entrance, no car on the campsite.
On 8 m2 accessible by 1 step: 1 living room with 120 cm sofa bed and equipped kitchenette. Sanitary facilities shared with the campsite in the stables 20 m away. Sheets, towels, tea towels and soap provided.
